1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website (sunplanner.subtl.agency) or the SunPlanner app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or the app.
2. What SunPlanner is
SunPlanner is a solar production forecasting app for off-grid living: RVs, vans, skoolies, cabins, and homesteads. It is publicly available on Android through Google Play. The iPhone version comes later, and this website offers an iPhone waitlist.
3. Subscription and pricing
Monthly and yearly Android memberships cost $5 a month or $50 a year and are set up, managed, and billed through Google Play. Google Play shows the current price before purchase.
4. Free trial
Eligible Google Play accounts may receive a 7-day free trial with a monthly or yearly Android membership. Google Play shows the offer and its terms before purchase when the account qualifies. You can cancel during an active trial through your Google Play account settings and you will not be charged.
5. Refunds
Paid memberships are billed through Google Play, so refund requests follow Google's refund process and policy. Email us if you're not sure where to start and we'll point you in the right direction.
6. Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees
SunPlanner's forecasts are estimates based on available weather data and your equipment's calibration history. They are not guarantees. Actual solar production depends on real-world conditions, cloud cover, equipment condition, shading, and other factors outside our control. Use SunPlanner as a planning tool, not as a substitute for your own judgment about your power system.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use this website or the app to do anything illegal, to interfere with how the site or app works, or to try to extract data from the iPhone waitlist form or the app in bulk (scraping, automated signups, or similar abuse). We may block access for anyone who does.
8. No warranty
This website and the SunPlanner app are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard to keep forecasts accurate and the site and app running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, SunPlanner is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the app, including decisions made based on a forecast.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app and business change. Meaningful changes will be noted here with a new date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
